(Ruthven)– Five Ruthven residents will be vying for the two open seats on the Ruthven-Ayrshire school board this September. Dave Forey is the only incumbent that will appear on the ballot. Newcomers Matt Coleman, Jill Williamson, Angie Reed and Patty Rouse will also appear before voters.
The Emmetsburg school district has two open seats with two new faces running: Kent Egland and Scott Dettman.
Two incumbents on the Graettinger school board are looking to retain their seats: Duane Hoffman and Roger Schmidt.
And two incumbents on the West Bend-Mallard school board are unopposed–Charles Wirtz of Whittemore and Pat Madsen of West Bend.
