(Terril)– Fire departments from Terril, Wallingford and Superior battled a barn fire Thursday afternoon.
Terril Fire Chief Tim Mathew tells KUOO news they were called to the David Dingel farm at 2570 340th Avenue east of Terril…just inside Emmet county…at about 3:30.
Mathew says the owner had been burning down a barn when the blaze spread to a nearby sheep barn. All of the sheep managed to get out except a couple.
The sheep barn was gutted.
The Terril fire department was assisted by the Superior and Wallingford fire departments who hauled water to the scene.
Firefighters were at the scene for about an hour and-a-half Thursday.
