(Estherville)– Area landowners, tenants and ag professionals are being urged to attend a farmland leasing meeting Friday, August 13th at the Estherville Public Library. The session will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will last about two hours.
Tom Olsen, a Farm Management Specialist with Iowa State University Extension, will present current leasing information including the latest land value survey and cash rent survey.
There will also be a question and answer session.
Registration is $20 per person or $30 per couple and includes a copy of “Farmland Leasing 2010”. Pre-registration is requested by August 6th by contacting the Emmet County Extension office at (712) 362-3434.
