(Jackson, Mn.)– A report of a suspicious vehicle in rural Jackson county early Wednesday morning has resulted in the arrests of two Estherville men on a variety of charges.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report of a suspicious vehicle around 4:00 a.m. Wednesday in section 25 of Wisconsin Township.
Upon arriving, deputies spotted two individuals removing property from a barn.
49-year-old James Jensen and 26-year-old Danny Frerichs…both of Estherville…were arrested on the scene.
Jensen was charged with third degree burglary and aiding and assisting in the taking of small game without a license.
Frerichs was charged with third degree burglary, controlled substance crime in the fifth degree and with aiding and assisting in the taking of small game without a license.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office and a Minnesota State Conservation Officer.
