(Estherville)– Anyone that’s been deeply touched by the recent tragedy on West Lake Okoboji involving Mathew Molacek and Collin Helmers is being urged to attend a special event this Thursday evening in Estherville.
Reverend Glenn Bohmer of the Estherville Ministerial Association says they’ll be holding a grief workshop from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday (11/18) at the Estherville-Lincoln Central Middle School at 321 North Sixth Street in Estherville.
Reverend Bohmer says the workshop will provide youth, adults and families with information and skills that will help them in coping with loss. It will be presented by Laura Schuldt, a licensed professional counselor with Avera McKennan Behavioral Services of Sioux Falls. Reverend Bohmer adds there will be breakout sessions for adults and children.
The workshop is free and open to people throughout the region. Families are especially encouraged to attend.
