(Estherville)– New developments in the fundraising effort to build a regional wellness center in Estherville.
Mayor and chamber executive Lyle Hevern says those overseeing the fundraising submitted their application for a Community Attractions and Tourism Grant through Vision Iowa last Friday. They’re applying for a million dollars.
The project has a total cost of about six million dollars. The city has chipped in a million dollars while the Estherville-Lincoln Central School Board has come up with one and-a-half million.
