Emmet Co. Authorities Bust Mobile Meth Lab

November 22, 2014

(Estherville)– A traffic stop Sunday in Emmet county resulted in the discovery of a mobile meth lab and the arrests of three people.

The Sheriff’s Office says a deputy became suspicious when he saw a vehicle pull into the driveway of an occupied farm residence and turn around. The vehicle went a couple miles down the road where it pulled into another residence. At that point the deputy conducted a traffic stop on it and noticed three occupants in the vehicle were acting suspiciously. In addition authorities say a strong chemical smell was coming from the vehicle. That led to the discovery of a mobile methampehtamine lab.

A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up drug paraphernalia, a plastic container with liquid meth in it, sulfuric acid, plastic tubing, lithium batteries and cooking utensils.

All three occupants were arrested.

They’re identified as 23-year-old William Tridle the fourth of Milford; 18-year-old Nathan DeMuth of Estherville and 18-year-old Jeffrey Krowiorz the second of Milford. All three were charged with posession of methamphetamine, possession of precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

They were being held in the Emmet county jail on 12,500-dollars bond.
