(Emmetsburg)– Voters in the Emmetsburg school district Tuesday overwhelmingly approved an instructional support levy.
449 people voted yes while 194 cast no votes…for an approval rating of 69 percent.
The measure needed a simple majority to pass.
School officials have said the additional revenue the levy will bring in is crucial for the district to continue offering a quality program.
