(Emmetsburg)– A search of an Emmetsburg home last week has landed five people in jail on drug charges.
Back on June 3rd, Emmetsburg police conducted a search warrant at 1801 7th Street which turned up illegal drugs and led to five arrests.
18-year-old Brett Culver of Emmetsburg was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hallucinogenic mushrooms, two felony counts of delivery of controlled substances, a felony charge of hosting a gathering where drugs are unlawfully used, and a felony drug tax-stamp violation.
24-year-old Peter Hart of Emmetsburg, 21-year-old Jessica Lawson of Emmetsburg, 18-year-old Brandon Taylor of Mallard and 18-year-old Ryan Sobkoweak of Emmetsburg were all charged with possession of marijuana, possession of hallucinogenic mushrooms and for hosting a gathering where controlled substances are used…a class D felony.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the search and arrests.
