(Sioux City)– An Emmetsburg man has been sentenced in U-S District Court on meth charges.
35-year-old Rick Summers was sentenced to five years in federal prison for conspiring to manufacture an distribute methamphetamine. He must also serve a four-year term of supervised release after the prison term.
Summers admitted at a plea hearing in June of this year that he was involved in a conspiracy to manufacture and distribute atleast 35 grams of pure meth.
Summers is being held by the U-S Marshal until he can be transported to a federal prison.
