(Sioux City)– Drug and firearms charges have been filed against a Primghar man in U-S District Court.
36-year-old Francis Everetts has been charged with possessing firearms while being an unlawful user of a controlled substance.
The charges are contained in an indictment filed March 17th.
If convicted Everetts faces a maximum sentence of 10 years imprisonment, a fine of up to 25-thousand dollars; a 100-dollar special assessment and three years of supervised release following any imprisonment.
Everetts was arraigned March 18th and was released. His next court appearance is set for May 2nd when a trial is scheduled.
