(Spencer)– Drug charges have been filed against a Spencer couple in connection with a search warrant that was executed on their residence.
Culley Fricton and Shannon Fricton, both 26 years-old, have been charged with possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The two reside at 208 West Third Street in Spencer. They were booked into the Clay county jail on bond of 2,275-dollars.
Authorities say quantities of marijuana and multiple pieces of drug paraphernalia were found as a result of the search.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says the search and arrests are the result of public involvement. They say concerned citizens noticed suspicious activity at the residence and contacted authorities. A search warrant was obtained as a result of the report.
Deputies were assisted by the Clay County Attorney’s Office.
