November 22, 2014

(Little Rock)– The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office has released additional details into a freak accident Tuesday in Little Rock in which a truck pulling a livestock trailer suddenly stopped and rolled backward, colliding with a fence and a tree in a yard.

Authorities now say the driver, 57-year-old Arlan Arends of Little Rock, suffered a heart attack. He was taken to Sanford Hospital in Rock Rapids and was transferred to Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Authorities say he since has returned home and is recuperating.
