(Fostoria)– A Sioux City woman faces charges in connection with a gas drive-off last Thursday at the Cenex gas station in Fostoria.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Tabitha Owen was charged with theft in the fifth degree and reckless driving…both simple misdemeanors.
Owen is accused of leaving the station without paying for gas. She then went back to the station and was stopped by a Iowa State Patrol trooper. Following a short investigation, deputies with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office placed Owen under arrest and she was booked into jail.
The Spencer Police Department and Clay county dispatchers assisted in the case.
