(LeMars)– The Iowa Department of Transportation has scheduled a public hearing for Thursday, April 2nd to talk about a proposed bypass of LeMars.
D-O-T officials say the bypass would consist of a four-lane divided highway on a relocated alignment on the west side of LeMars. It would also include the reconstruction of Highways 75, 60 and three; and an existing bridge over the Floyd River would be replaced.
The April 2nd hearing will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the LeMars High School. Written comments should be submitted to the D-O-T by April 15th.
