(Arnolds Park)– More changes are in store for the Iowa Great Lakes Corridor of Opportunity. Ann Ditsworth of Lake Park is stepping down from her position with the Corridor’s office in Arnolds Park. She’s held the position since 1999.
Ditsworth says she’s thoroughly enjoyed her work with the Corridor and economic development. She points to several examples, including Rosenboom Machine and Tool in Spirit Lake and Veridean Limited in Spencer to name just a couple.
Ditsworth says last winter’s Community Collaboration Conference was another highlight.
She says the corridor is a true example of how regionalism can work. She expects the concept will continue to catch on and grow in other communities.
Ditsworth hasn’t set a final day yet as to when her resignation will be effective.
