(Estherville)– Two people are in jail on charges from unrelated disturbances this past weekend in Estherville.
The first was reported early Saturday on south 10th Street. Upon arrival, officers say they were assaulted by a 17-year-old male. He was taken into custody and transported to the juvenile detention facility in Cherokee. The juvenile was charged with assaulting a police officer and interference with official acts.
Police were called to another disturbance early Sunday in Estherville. Officers say 22-year-old Bruce Tindall fled as they attempted to arrest him. Tindall was later stopped and was eventually taken into custody following another struggle. He was charged with assault on a police officer, interference with official acts and public intoxication. Tindall was placed in the Emmet county jail.
