(Spirit Lake)– A report of a disturbance at a Spirit Lake residence has led to drug charges being filed against a Spirit Lake woman.
Spirit Lake police say they were called Saturday to 2002 Denver Avenue. Upon arriving police say a suspect tried to flee on foot, but was quickly apprehended. The suspect was identified as 26-year-old Jessica Bushey. A subsequent investigation resulted in authorities finding a substance believed to be methamphetamine.
Bushey was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, a serious misdemeanor; and interference with official acts…a simple misdemeanor. She was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
