Discovery Of Emmet County Meth Labs Results In 1 Arrest

November 22, 2014

(Dollver)– The execution of two search warrants has resulted in the discovery of two meth labs in Emmet county and the arrest of a Dolliver man.

The Emmet County Sheriff’s Office says the first search was conducted around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at 1095 School Street in Dollver. It resulted in the discovery of a meth lab, a small amount of meth, precursors for making meth, surveillance cameras and night vision equipment. 29-year-old Chris Hinrichsen of Dolliver was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of precursors.

The second search warrant was executed at 5063 Otis Street in Dolliver. Another meth lab was discovered at that location along with precursors, meth, drug paraphernalia, marijuana, surveillance cameras and miscellaneous lab equipment. No one was home at the time of the search.

Clandestine lab officers were called to clean up both sites.

Emmet county authorities say more arrests are likely.

Authorities say the investigations were based on reports from citizens about suspicious activity at the residences.
