(Undated)– With one exception, next month’s school board elections in Dickinson county should be pretty lack-luster.
In the Okoboji district, seats currently held by Curt Eckard and Tom Cooper will be up for election. Eckard was the only one to file papers. That means the seat held by Cooper will have to be filled through a write-in campaign.
In Spirit Lake, incumbents Ann Goerss and Beth Will will be unopposed for re-election; and in the Harris-Lake Park district, incumbent Dan Breuker will be unopposed in district one and incumbent Arthur Schumacher will be uncontested in district four.
In Terril, incumbent William Swart did not seek re-election to the district one seat. Larry Flaharty was the only person to file.
