(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson county board of supervisors Tuesday unanimously approved a resolution reaffirming a previous one to establish Tax Increment Finance Districts in the West Sioux Estates and Shore Acres areas.
The actual improvements are to be delayed until final agreements are in place pertaining to roads in the subdivisions being improved to meet county standards prior to them being taken over by the county.
The supervisors took the action after learning landowners in the subdivisions are willing to deed the land that’s needed to improve the roads.
