(Spirit Lake)– Dickinson county has a new 9-1-1/Emergency Services Coordinator…for now, atleast.
Doug Nelson, chairman of the county’s Emergency Management/911 Board, tells KUOO news Tim Kinnetz of Arnolds Park has agreed to take on the position for six months atleast. Kinnetz had been filling in as coordinator on an interim basis since Sharon Gerot abruptly resigned from the position several weeks ago.
Kinnetz has had previous experience in the emergency medical services field…having served as a paramedic and nurse.
Kinnetz was named to the position Monday and has been working as coordinator since.
