Dickinson Co. Water Quality Commission Seeks Funding Proposals

November 22, 2014

(Arnolds Park)– The Dickinson County Water Quality Commission is accepting project proposals for its next round of funding.

Commission Chairman Ron Walker of Arnolds Park says the deadline for submitting applications is August 31st.

Walker says they have 200-thousand dollars in funding to award in this, the fourth round of grants.

The Dickinson County Water Quality Commission was established in 2001 to provide local match money often required for state and federal environmental grants for water quality improvement projects.

Applications, instructions and screening and ranking criteria are available at the Dickinson County Soil and Water Conservation District Office in Spirit Lake.

Walker says the awards will be announced in late September or October.
