(Spirit Lake)– Meeting in special session this (Fri.) afternoon the Dickinson County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the final draft of a survey on what to do about the courthouse.
The three-page survey will be sent out to 600 randomly selected residents the middle of next week.
Jane Goeken of the Iowa State University Extension Service, which is conducting the survey, says residents who receive the surveys will have until November 1st to fill them out and mail them back. Goeken says reminders will be sent out to those who fail to return them by then.
Once they’re returned to I-S-U, Goeken says the results will be tabulated and a summary will be presented to the supervisors. She says that could happen sometime in December.
