(Spirit Lake)– Dickinson county supervisors Tuesday awarded a low bid for two paving projects to be done in the upcoming construction season.
One of the roads is in the Spirit Lake industrial park, which the county shares jurisdiction with the city; the other is for a road along the west side of a cemetary in the Loch Nolls area of East Lake Okoboji.
The bid for the combined projects, from Rohlin Construction of Spencer, is 240,439-dollars…below the engineer’s estimate of 286,680-dollars. Spirit Lake will pick up 75 percent of the cost of the Industrial Park Road project.
