(Spirit Lake)– A Dickinson county jury has acquitted a Worthington, Minnesota man of sexual abuse.
27-year-old Mario Cornejo had been charged with sexual abuse in the third degree; assault with intent to commit sexual abuse and assault.
The jury found him NOT guilty on all counts in the trial that started Tuesday and concluded Wednesday in Dickinson County District Court.
The charges stem from an incident on or about May 29th of last year when Cornejo was incarcerated at the Dickinson county jail. He was accused of performing a sex act on a cellmate.
