Dickinson Co. Collision Injures Two

(Arnolds Park)– A two-vehicle collision Monday afternoon east of Arnolds Park sent two people to the hospital.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 48-year-old Morris Miler of Milford was driving a 1995 Chevrolet pickup southbound on 280th Avenue and 54-year-old Deanna Shay of Milford was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer westbound on 175th Street when the two collided in the intersection.

Miler and Shay were both taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare with incapacitating injuries.

The vehicles were totaled.

The collision took place shortly after 12:30 p.m. Authorities say it remains under investigation.

The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by the Iowa State Patrol, Arnolds Park Police Department, D.O.T Motor Vehicle Enforcement, Dickinson County Emergency Management, Superior Fire and Rescue, Terril Rescue and the Lakes Regional Healthcare ambulance service.
