(Spirit Lake)– A Des Moines man has been charged in connection with an alleged incident earlier this week in Spirit Lake.
Spirit Lake Police say officers were called to the parking lot behind the Great Lakes Mall around 1:30 a.m. Thursday on a report that unwanted sexual advances had been made on a 19-year-old female in the suspect’s sport utility vehicle.
26-year-old Jeffrey Michael Goode of Des Moines was arrested and charged with intent to commit sexual abuse, an aggravated misdemeanor.
Authorities say Goode also admitted to recent drug use and possession.
