(Spirit Lake)– The Lakes Area Decategorization/Empowerment Board has received a 30-thousand dollar grant to support pre-school programs.
Cyndee Dather is the coordinator of the local Decat/Empowerment Board. She says anyone involved in pre-school programs or looking at starting one up in Clay, Dickinson, Osceola or O’Brien county is urged to apply for the funding.
Proposals for funding requests need to be turned in to the local Decat/Empowerment office in the D-H-S building in Spirit Lake by September 30th.
