(Spirit Lake)– The deadline to register to vote in the June 4th Primary Election isn’t until 5:00 p.m. May 25th. But you may want to do it now while you’re thinking about it. Postcard voter registration forms must be postmarked on or before May 20th.
Absentee ballots can be cast in person through Monday, June 3rd. If you’re voting by mail, the ballot must be postmarked Monday, June 3rd or earlier and received at the Auditor’s office by noon Monday, June 10th in order to be counted.
As of last Friday, Dickinson County Auditor Nancy Reiman said her office had received no requests for absentee ballots. But the ballots were only made available the day before…Thursday, April 25th.
