(Spencer)– The Spencer Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Day-At-The-Capitol Wednesday, January 29th. Chamber spokesperson Sanya Moller says they’ll depart the chamber office at 6:00 a.m. that morning.
While in Des Moines, Moller says they’ll meet with various departments such as the D-N-R, D-O-T, Department of Agriculture, and others. They’ll also be meeting with the head of the Department of Economic Development, Michael Blouin, and they’ll have lunch with the local legislative delegation.
The cost to attend is 35 dollars per person, which includes transportation and a noon lunch. Anyone interested should sign up by contacting the Spencer Chamber of Commerce at 262-5680 by 4:00 p.m. this Friday (1/24).
Residents from throughout the Iowa Great Lakes Corridor are invited.
