D.O.T Commissioners To Hold Input Meeting In Storm Lake

(Storm Lake)– The Iowa Transportation Commission has scheduled a public input meeting for August 10th in Storm Lake to hear from representatives of local government, interest groups and individuals regarding transportation-related issues.

The session will be held at King’s Pointe resort in Storm Lake.

Items that may be addressed at the August 10th meeting include the Iowa Transportation Improvement Program; transportation policies and highway, aviation, rail, river and transit issues.

Anyone planning to address commissioners that day should reserve a time on the agenda by contacting the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Office of Program Management at 800 Lincoln Way, Ames, Iowa…50010…or by calling (515) 239-1148. You can also do so by faxing (515) 239-1975 or by email at Donald.tebben@dot.iowa.gov. Statements, presentations or suggestions should be 20 minutes or less.

Prior to that, commissioners will meet informally Monday, August 9th, to tour transportation projects throughout northwest Iowa.
