(Jackson, Mn.)– A collision Wednesday at the junction of Interstate 90 and Highway 71 at Jackson claimed the life of a Trimont man.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 63-year-old Duane Clemmensen of Trimont was driving a 2001 Jeep Cherokee that collided with the rear of a trailer.
Clemmensen was pronounced dead a short time later.
No injuries were reported to the driver of the vehicle pulling the trailer.
Clemmensen’s vehicle was totaled; moderate damage was reported to the trailer.
The collision took place shortly after 11:00 a.m.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the Jackson Police Department.
