(Spirit Lake)– Spirit Lake city councilman Kevin Bice wants a special meeting scheduled to review the city’s code enforcement ordinance.
At Tuesday’s city council meeting, Bice said he’s been approached by a number of contractors that want the issue re-visited. Bice says they want to make sure it’s in the best interest of the homeowner. He says many feel it was brought on too quickly and they didn’t have much of an opportunity for recourse.
A date for the meeting hasn’t been set, but Bice hopes it can be held sometime early next month.
