(Ireton)– A two vehicle collision Wednesday in Sioux county left two people seriously injured.
The Iowa State Patrol says 37-year-old Derek Jungeward of Hawarden was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Impala northbound on Dipper Avenue when he crossed the center line and collided with a southbound 2004 Ford F150 driven by 68-year-old Carmen Noteboom of Spencer.
Jungeward and Noteboom were both transported by air to Sioux Falls hospitals.
The collision took place around 7:50 am and authorities say it remains under investigation.
