(Everly)– A two-vehicle collision Saturday at the intersection of County Road M-27 and 130th Street in Dickinson county sent one person to the hospital.
The Iowa State Patrol says 64-year-old Shirley George of Cherokee began to pass a vehicle driven by 79-year-old William Adolf of Everly while he was attempting to make a left-hand turn when the two collided.
A passenger in George’s vehicle, 95-year-old Ruth George of Cherokee, was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital. There was no immediate word on the extent of her injuries or condition.
No injuries were reported to Adolf.
Damage estimates to a 1989 Chevrolet pickup driven by Adolf and to a 2003 Chevrolet Impala driven by George weren’t immediately available.
The collision took place around 4:30 p.m.
