(Spencer)– A traffic stop in Spencer early this (Tuesday) morning has landed two people from Arizona in jail…one on numerous drug charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle shortly after midnight being driven by Armando Hermosillo of Gilbert, Arizona who was arrested for driving without a valid driver’s license.
A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up some pot and drug paraphernalia. A passenger, Linda Duke also of Gilbert, Arizona, was arrested. A search of Duke’s person at the Clay county jail turned up a bag of methamphetamine. Duke was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia and possessing contraband.
