(Spencer)– A one-vehicle rollover in Clay county Wednesday evening sent two people to the hospital.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 33-year-old Ronnie Stief of Spencer was northbound on 225th Avenue just south of Spencer when he lost control. The vehicle left the road and went into the east ditch, where it rolled.
A passenger, Mark Krukow, was trapped under the vehicle.
Both Stief and Krukow were taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital with multiple injuries. Krukow was treated and released; Stief was treated and transferred to another hospital.
The vehicle, a 1989 Ford Ranger, was totaled.
The Greenville Rescue, Royal Fire and Rescue and Spencer Ambulance assisted on the scene.
The mishap took place around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday.
