(Spencer)– The operator of a kiddie ride at the Clay County Fair has been busted for allegedly possessing pot.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested 22-year-old Curtis Lee Tripp of Spencer around 4:30 p.m. Monday at the fairgrounds in Spencer. Acting on information provided to authorities, deputies located Tripp in the midway area. He was allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance…marijuana; and some drug paraphernalia.
Tripp was arrested and taken to the Clay county jail. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance…a serious misdemeanor; and possessing drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor. Bond was set at 2,275-dollars.
