Clay County Domestic Assault

The Clay County Sheriffs office is looking for a Greenville man accused of assaulting his girlfriend, Around 5 AM on Monday; deputies along with the Spencer Police were called out to a domestic disturbance at 1112 Railroad Avenue in Greenville. Thirty-two year old Valerie Miller told police that her live-in boyfriend, 36 year old James Streuli had assaulted him after an evening of drinking alcohol. Miller suffered multiple minor injuries from the assault. Streuli was not home when officers arrived, therefore his arrest is pending. Streuli is facing charges of domestic assault, an aggravated misdemeanor. The charge has been enhanced due to a previous domestic assault conviction.
