(Des Moines)– A Clay county couple has been inducted into the 2010 Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame.
Jim and Joyce Spieker were selected for their outstanding service and dedication to 4-H.
The Spiekers were presented with a certificate by the Iowa 4-H Foundation at a ceremony August 22nd at the Iowa State Fair.
Jim and Joyce Spieker have been volunteers for the Clay county 4-H program for more than 30 years, having served as parent volunteers, committee members and leaders of the Meadow Motivators 4-H club.
The Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame got its start in 2002 to help commemorate the 100th anniversary of 4-H.
