(Spencer)—Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision Friday in Clay county.
The Sheriff’s Office says vehicles driven by 22-year-old Cory Climer and 19-year-old Michael Howe…both of Spencer…collided at the intersection of 310th Street and 200th Avenue. Deputies say Climer was eastbound on 310th Street and Howe was southbound on 200th Avenue.
Howe and two passengers…who weren’t idenitied…along with Climer, were taken to Spencer Hospital. All four were treated for minor lacerations and bruises and were released.
A 1993 Ford F-350 driven by Climer and a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalie driven by Howe were both totaled.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, Fostoria and Everly Fire and rescue and by Spencer Emergency Response.
The collision took place around 4:30 p.m. Friday.
