The Sheriff’s Office is investigating several burglaries that occurred this past weekend…from Friday through today (Tues.).

The first incident took place sometime Friday night or Monday at the Great Lakes Coop Elevator in Langdon. Burglars broke in by prying open a door to the office. Once inside they stole an undetermined amount of cash.

The city of Webb was hard hit Sunday. Several businesses were broken into, including Jerry’s Service, Ken’s DX and Jackson’s Hometown Cafe. Burglars broke in by prying open doors to the businesses. Once inside the thieves stole undetermined amounts of money.

A break-in was attempted at Hart Manufacturing, but the thieves were unsuccessful and only caused damage to the outside door.

Anyone that may have seen or heard any suspicious activity in those areas or that may have information into any of the incidents is asked to call the Clay County Sheriff’s Office at 262-3221 or Clay County Crimestoppers at 262-6655.
