(Sioux City)– A Clay county woman has pleaded guilty in federal court to meth charges.
34-year-old Tammy Louise McGraw entered the plea to charges of conspiracy to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine.
In a plea agreement, McGrew admitted that between about 1997 and about August 3rd, 2003 she and others manufactured and distributed atleast 15 methamphetamine “cooks” using the anhydrous ammonia method…producing atleast 156 grams of methamphetamine.
McGrew was taken into custody by a U-S Marshal after entering the guilty plea and will remain in custody until sentencing. A date for that will be set once a pre-sentence report is complete.
McGrew faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and a possible maximum sentence of life imprisonment; a four million dollar fine and five years’ supervised release.
