The issue over water in Dickinson County seems to have been settled. The Clay County Regional Water company and city of Spirit Lakewere in a turf battle atfer residents along the southern border of Spirit Lake wanted city water but found out Clay County Regional Water claimed the area. The Dickinson County board of Supervisors allowed those residents to detach from Clay Regional services, but then the entity said it would sue anyone who did, the city and the county.
Supervisors convened for a public hearing last night, but the hearing was unnecissary after attornies announced a comprimise had been hammered out just hours before.
