(Arnolds Park)– Two lakes area cities want to explore the possibility of a joint public works facility.
Arnolds Park wants to do something different with its maintenance shed located adjacent to the city park. And the city of Milford is looking at possible changes for its shed.
Arnolds Park City Administrator Ron Walker says a joint facility located between the two towns would make sense. He says there could be a substantial savings in that some of the most expensive portions of the facility, such as maintenance rooms and washbays, would be shared.
A committee of representatives of the two cities is being established to explore some possible options.
