Church Builds Memorial Wall

November 23, 2014

(Spirit Lake)– It’s been a month since life as we knew it then would change forever as terrorists attacked the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

The congregation of a Spirit Lake church recently completed a special project remembering those who lost their lives that day. Pastor Bill Moore of the First Presbyterian Church in Spirit Lake says they’ve put together a wall that has the names of the victims of those killed in the attacks on the Pentagon and World Trade Center…as well as those who were on the planes.

Pastor Moore says the public is cordially invited to stop by the church and view the display. The church is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It’s located on Stakeout Road just south of the Spirit Lake Elementary School.
