(Arnolds Park)– Charges have been filed against a LeMars man in connection with a motorcycle accident Tuesday evening in Arnolds Park.
Police say 19-year-old Joshua Jacobs lost control of the motorcycle he was operating on Highway 71 near Oak Hill Marina around 7:15 p.m. Authorities say Jacobs struck the curb and left the roadway…with the bike rolling about 82 feet before coming to rest on the sidewalk.
Jacobs was taken by ambulance to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital with what was described as moderate injuries.
Jacobs was charged with driving while revoked, failure to provide security against liability and failure to maintain control.
