(Sibley)– Charges have been filed against an Ocheyedan man accused of leading officers on a pursuit through several counties while riding a motorcycle Friday.
18-year-old Timothy Schutte was charged with eluding law enforcement, two stop sign violations and speeding.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says the pursuit started when officers tried to make a routine traffic stop on Schutte. The chase went through Osceola, Lyon and Sioux counties where Schutte was finally stopped by the Iowa State Patrol.
Schutte was booked into the Osceola county jail pending an initial court appearance.
