(Arnolds Park)– An incident early this (Monday) morning in Arnolds Park has led to charges against a Carroll man.
Arnolds Park Police say the operator of a Harley Davidson motorcycle was stopped around 2:15 a.m. for driving erratically.
Upon further investigation, police determined the motorcycle had been stolen from the Indian Motorcycle Shop in Arnolds Park.
The operator of the motorcycle was identified as 19-year-old Ryan Keith Nelson of Carroll, Iowa. Nelson was charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense; theft of a motorcycle; and failure to have a valid motorcycle license.
Nelson was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
The incident remains under investigation.
